Payment & Reservations
Reservations are accepted and confirmed upon receipt of Trip Deposit per traveler, payable by check in US Dollars, money order, cashiers check, or Moon Clerk (the online payment portal used on each trip page), along with acceptance of the Terms and Conditions. Final Payment is due prior to departure, on the date indicated in each trip's payment plan schedule. Payments not received within 1 day of travel will be considered notification of cancellation by default and will be subject to cancellation charges.
Responsibility & Risk
All travel involves risk. As a fully aware traveler and registrant to AfroBuenaventura Travels (the Company) programs (the Activity), you (the Client) will be required to sign a notarized Release of Liability which states that the Client release from liability and waive the Client's right to sue the Company, their employees, officers, volunteers and agents from any and all claims, including claims of the Company’s negligence, resulting in any physical injury, illness (including death) or economic loss the Client may suffer or which may result from the Client's participation in the Activity, travel to and from the Activity (including air travel), or any events incidental to this Activity.
Certain Products may not be suitable for all people due to restrictions posed by limitations in mobility, physical or cognitive disability, pregnancy or various other physical or mental conditions. It is the Client’s responsibility to assess the risks and requirements of each Activity in light of such Client’s limitations, physical and mental fitness and condition, and any medical requirements or issues of such Client. The Company may refuse to carry pregnant women over 24 weeks or Clients with certain conditions, if suitable accommodation or alternate Activities or services cannot be arranged. Travel, as offered by the Company, by its nature may involve visiting remote or less developed regions, where medical facilities may not meet the standards of those found in a Client’s home country. The condition of medical facilities in the countries in which the Company operates varies and the Company makes no representations and gives no warranties in relation to the standard of such facilities or medical treatment in those regions. The Company will try to accommodate the special requests of Clients, such as dietary and accommodation requests, but such requests do not form part of these Terms or the contract between Client and the Company and the Company is not liable for any failure to accommodate or fulfill such requests.
Release of Liability
Each client commits to submitting a signed a Release of Liability before arriving to the destination.
Accommodations
The Company is not responsible for any fees, accidents, or other circumstances created due to booking third-party accomodations, including but not limited to Airbnb and hotels. The Company is not responsible for incidentals or other charges resulting from consumption of any products in the hotel which are not included in the price of the trip.
Cancellations & Refunds
Deposits are non-refundable.
Cancellations received in writing 60 days prior to trip departure date will result in a cancellation fee equal to the full amount of the trip deposit plus transaction fees and any non-refundable fees incurred by the Company. All related Next Level Travel Referral Program discounts applied to fees of other travelers will be revoked. The balance of payments will be refunded.
Cancellations after 60 days prior to the trip departure date, will not receive a refund.Travel cancellation and interruption insurance is strongly recommended for this purpose.
Upon cancellation, All related Travel Referral Program discounts applied to fees of other travelers will be revoked. Program fees are not transferable to other travelers. Fees that are paid, but nonrefundable can be transferred to a program (minus the deposit) that departs within the same calendar year.
Should a trip be cancelled by the company, payments will be fully refunded minus any transaction fees.

Costs associated with trip interruption or modification due to weather, travel conditions, political/civil disputes, medical emergencies or other causes beyond our control. To mitigate this risk, choose a travel insurance that provides coverage for these rare cases.
