My Three Wishes for You

Dear Traveler,

The new year is quickly approaching, and I couldn't be more glad. This year was a rebirth for many of us—the first time I really had the chance to breathe, and to simply be.

Last year I visited the spiritual mother of a friend, and asked her about my travel business and its trajectory here in Brazil. She said it would flourish. I was relieved, and felt even more motivated to settle into my home in Salvador da Bahia. After that confirmation, I was more certain than ever that I would be able to blend the things I enjoy with the ways I make a living by serving others.

This year I focused on making Salvador my home, and it's a place that I look forward to sharing with you in new ways next year.

In 2022 I nurtured and supported a community of friends and associates inside and outside of the tourism sector, including expats and locals, folks of privilege, and others that lead tough lives.

I hosted three clients that hired me to curate personalized travel experiences: facilitating reservations, bookings, tours, birthday dinners, sunset boat cruises, spiritual readings, and more.

I launched a new travel experience called Ancestral Spirits which will take place at the end of next January. I am excited to introduce several clients to the richness of Brazil's Blackest city in just a few weeks. Heads up: If you are interested, registration will close January 1.

Three Wishes

And, I also chatted with dozens of you thru video calls where I offered advice for planning trips, and explained the value that I offer my clients.

Now, I am developing a new product that I am excited to share! It blends my appreciation for local artisanship with my affinity for the orishas of the Candomblé religion. You can learn more about it here, and be the first to know when it officially launches in January. â€‹

I will end this year on a high note. For this, I am thankful. Will you allow me to share some more goodness with you, too?

Here are my three wishes for you this holiday season and throughout 2023:

  1. I hope that you have the courage and support to take the chances you have always wanted to take. Start small, and go from there.

  2. I hope that you consider the ways in which you are intentionally building a community around you that is rooted in mutual appreciation and a desire to grow.

  3. I hope that you honor yourself by doing all the things that feel right, and making the tough decisions to let go of the things that do not.

Thank you for supporting me. Thank you for being a part of my community.

Best wishes to you and your community this holiday season, and beyond!

Highest,

Ronnell Perry
