Payment for Services Rendered
Custom travel planning services are confirmed and initiated upon the receipt of payment of the Service Fee in full. All payments will be made through the Company's preferred payment portal.
Reservations are accepted and confirmed upon receipt of deposit for Reservation Fee, or payment in full per traveler (where applicable). All payments will be made through the Company's preferred payment portal. Payment is due according to each trip's payment plan schedule.
Responsibility & Risk
All travel involves risk. As a fully aware traveler and registrant to AfroBuenaventura Transformative Travel (the Company) programs (the Activity), you (the Client) will be required to sign a notarized Release of Liability which states that the Client release from liability and waive the Client's right to sue the Company, their employees, officers, volunteers and agents from any and all claims, including claims of the Company’s negligence, resulting in any physical injury, illness (including death) or economic loss the Client may suffer or which may result from the Client's participation in the Activity, travel to and from the Activity (including air travel), or any events incidental to this Activity.
Certain Products may not be suitable for all people due to restrictions posed by limitations in mobility, physical or cognitive disability, pregnancy or various other physical or mental conditions. It is the Client’s responsibility to assess the risks and requirements of each Activity in light of such Client’s limitations, physical and mental fitness and condition, and any medical requirements or issues of such Client. The Company may refuse to carry pregnant women over 24 weeks or Clients with certain conditions, if suitable accommodation or alternate Activities or services cannot be arranged. Travel, as offered by the Company, by its nature may involve visiting remote or less developed regions, where medical facilities may not meet the standards of those found in a Client’s home country. The condition of medical facilities in the countries in which the Company operates varies and the Company makes no representations and gives no warranties in relation to the standard of such facilities or medical treatment in those regions. The Company will try to accommodate the special requests of Clients, such as dietary and accommodation requests, but such requests do not form part of these Terms or the contract between Client and the Company and the Company is not liable for any failure to accommodate or fulfill such requests.
Cancellations & Refunds
Deposits are non-refundable.
Cancellations received in writing 60 days prior to trip departure date will result in a cancellation fee equal to the full amount of the trip deposit. The balance of payments will be refunded.
Cancellations after 60 days prior to the trip departure date, will not receive a refund. I strongly recommend travel cancellation and interruption insurance for this purpose.
Upon cancellation, All related Travel Referral Program discounts applied to fees of other travelers will be revoked. Program fees are not transferable to other travelers. Fees that are paid, but nonrefundable can be transferred to a program that departs within the same calendar year.
Should a trip be cancelled by the company, payments will be fully refunded minus any transaction fees.
Expenses Included or Not Included
Costs for any trip related activities will be outlined in the Service Agreement which will be indicated to be included in the Service or Reservation Fees accordingly.
These costs may include:
Airport Transfers & Transportation
Tour Guides and entrance fees
Airport Departure Taxes
Passport Application Fee
Other services & fees
Costs associated with trip interruption or modification due to weather, travel conditions, political/civil disputes, medical emergencies or other causes beyond our control. Choose a travel insurance that provides coverage for these rare cases.
Accommodations will be booked in accordance to the Service Agreement.
